PENERAPAN STRATEGI GENIUS LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARANMATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII DI SMP NEGERI 1 SUNGAYANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the dominant position of a teacher in the class. The domination not only leads to a less interaction between teachers and students, but also among students. Genius learning is one of the other mathematic teaching strategies that is considered to be able to solve that problem. The purpose of this study was to determine mathematic learning result of studentsthat the implementation genius learning strategy is better than mathematic learning result of studentsthat the implementation conventional learning.This research is an experimental study. The research instrument is observation papers and mathematic learning result test. Implementation genius learning strategy in mathematiclearning atVIIIclass SMPNegeri 1 Sungayang has been very well. Student's learning result test data by using statistic are normally distributed but not homogeneous. So, the conclusion hypothesis is accepted that is mathematic learning result of studentsthat the implementation genius learning strategyis better than mathematic learning result of studentsthat the implementation conventional learningat VIII class SMPNegeri 1 Sungayang.
