MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR PKn SISWA KELAS IVDENGAN PENDEKATAN KONSTRUKTIVISME DI SDN 15 VII KOTO SUNGAI SARIK KABUPATEN PADANG PARIAMAN

Abstrak

His research is motivated by the low activity of PKN students in learning in fourth grade at SDN 15 VII Koto Sarik River within three years. This is because teachers still tend to use the lecture method, and rarely uses in instructional media. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use a Constructivist approach. Formulation of the problem in this study is how to improve the activity of PKN learning through a constructivist approach in SDN 15 VII Koto Padang Pariaman Sarik River. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning activity Civics by using a constructivist approach to the fourth grade students of SDN 15 VII Koto Sarik River. This research is conducted action research collaboratively. This research was conducted in two cycles ie the first cycle two meetings and two meetings the second cycle. The subject of this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 15 VII Koto Padang Pariaman Sarik River totaling 28 people.  The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet constructivist approach implementation of aspects of teacher observation of student activity sheets, and achievement test. The results of the data analysis, it is known that the implementation of learning using a constructivist approach achieve better quality (ie 70%). Besides, the researchers also found that cognitive mastery learning students in the first cycle as many as 12 people (42.85%) and increased in the second cycle as many as 24 people (88.92%).  And student learning outcomes in the affective domain of the first cycle (67.85%) and increased in the second cycle (86.78%). Based on these results, the researchers concluded that the activity of student learning can be enhanced by using a constructivist approach. From this conclusion, it is suggested that teachers use a constructivist approach to improving student learning activities in the learning civics.
