PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI MODEL TALKING STICK DI SDN 11 KINALI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of student learning activities in science teaching fourth grade at SDN 11 Kinali . The low activity of students is marked with at least the students who want to express their opinions , as well as the lazy students to respond to questions from his friends in the study , which resulted in the students' science learning activities remains low . This research is conducted action research collaboratively . This study conducted two cycles . Based on the results obtained by the percentage of students in cycle 1 activity indicators with a mean expression ratannya was 58.3 % and increased in the second cycle an average of 80 % . , And respond to questions in cycle 1 average of 56.5 % increase in second cycle 68 % . indicator active in the game and talking sticks in the first cycle 70 % and increased 81 % in the second cycle . Implementation of learning by using models Talking Stick On aspects of teachers in cycle 1 score mean is 62.5 % increased to an average of 83.5 % ( very good ) . Concluded that learning science through models Talking Stick can enhance students' learning activities . Researchers suggest that teachers use and choose models , approaches , strategies in teaching , including Talking Stick can use the model to increase student activity.
