PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI PERPUSTAKAAN PADA UNIVERSITAS BUNG HATTA MENGGUNAKAN SENAYAN LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SLiMS) 5 DAN XAMPP 1.7.4

Abstrak

Usage and control of Information Technology (IT) is needed to support library services. One of these benefits of IT is a library automation. Library automation system currently running at Bung Hatta University libraries are still using manual systems and have not been computerized and the information submitted is less efficient. So much going on lack of thoroughness librarian such difficulty finding the data member, data book, loan data book  and  note the return because the data recording sheets are still using paper and reporting of data is still stored in the form of Microsoft Excel. Therefore designed a web-based library information system at the University of Bung Hatta to assist librarians in completing its task.  Library information system design Bung Hatta University is using the application SLiMS 5 and XAMPP 1.7.4. With the design of the application of web-based library information system can improve the quality and effectiveness of performance of the librarian in the library of the University of Bung Hatta.
