PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA DENGAN PENDEKATAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK INDONESIA (PMRI) PADA SISWA KELAS IV SD NEGERI 34 SIGUNTUR TUA KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to describe the increased interest and learning outcomes approach Realistic Mathematics Mathematics with Indonesia (PMRI) in the IV students of SD Negeri 34 Siguntur Tua Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Type of research is a class action (class action research) consisting of 2 cycles, which consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection approach used is qualitative and quantitative approaches. Subjects were IV students of SD Negeri 34 Siguntur Tua Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, amounting to 15 people. The data is a result of research, observation and student interest test results. The results showed an increase in: a) the interest of the students was 52.38 % in the first cycle to 85.23 % in the second cycle, b) average of 68.3 % of student learning outcomes in the first cycle to 85.3 % in the second cycle. Thus, Realistic Mathematics Approach Indonesia (PMRI) may increase interest and learning Mathematics in Elementary School IV students of SD Negeri 34 Siguntur Tua Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. For that reason, it is recommended to use the Realistic Mathematics Approach Indonesia on the other math subject matter in order to improve the learning interest and learning out comes at primary school level.
