KEMAMPUAN MENGEMBANGKAN PERIBAHASA MENJADI PARAGRAF SISWA KELAS VII3 SMP KARTIKA 1- 6 PADANG
Abstrak
In general this research aims to describe the ability of student at the class VII3 SMP Kartika I-6 Padang to develop the proverb become paragraph reviewed from 1) the feasibility content and topic, and 2) precondition of a good paragraph. This research used theory stated by Djago Tarigan about nature of paragraph, proverb theory by Henry Guntur Tarigan. The type of this research was qualitative research by using descriptive method. Methods This study uses descriptive method with qualitative research. In this study, the object of the research is the ability to develop into paragraphs proverb VII3 grade students of SMP Kartika 1-6 Padang.The result of research showed that students’ ability in developing the proverb become a paragraph reviewed from the content was good, it caused by average of them about 100, student enabled to retell the meaning of a proverb well as suitable as with topic. While the students’ ability in developing the proverb become a paragraph reviewed from the precondition of a good paragraph, also being classified to a good category with average value of students’ achievement about 76 , due to development of a paragraph there were some students did not have ability an integrated paragraph of unity aspect, coherence, feasibility of development and generic structure of a good paragraph. Based on the result of research can be summarized that, the students’ ability to develop proverb become a paragraph to the class VII3 SMP Kartika I-6 Padang reviewed form topic feasibility and content and precondition of a good paragraph fall into good classification.
