PEMAKAIAN TINDAK TUTUR ILOKUSI SISWA KELAS VII SMP N 01 KOTO BESAR KABUPATEN DHARMASRAYA

Abstrak

In general this research aims to describe the form of speech act illocutionary of student in speech act outside of the class in school environment. This research used theory stated by Geoffrey Leech (1993) about the speech act.  Focus of this research was to illocutionary speech act consisted of:  assertive act, directive act, commisive act, expressive act and declarative act. The speech act of illocutionary focused into students’ interaction outside of the class in school environment, while this research was a qualitative research by using descriptive method. The result of this research showed that the form of speech act always used among students at the class VII SMPN 01 Koto Besar was (a) the informant speech from the illocutionary act, assertive act was found about 66 data, (b) the informant speech from the illocutionary act, directive act was found about 30 data, (c) the informant speech from the illocutionary act, commisive act was found about 3 data, (d) the informant speech from the illocutionary act, expressive act was found about 6 data and there was no expressive act found in this research. Based on the result of research can be concluded that the form of speech act often used by students at the class VII SMPN 01 Koto Besar was illocutionary speech act, assertive act  in the form of a statement
