ASPEK KEPRIBADIAN TOKOH UTAMA NOVEL MIMPI BUNGSU KARYA VANNY CHRISMA W: TINJAUAN PSIKOLOGI SASTRA

Abstrak

This research aimd to describe the behavior of main character on the novel of Mimpi Bungsu by Vanny Crisma W reviewed from the personality aspect of main character and main personality aspect in determining the behavior of the main character. The concept of this research used psychoanalisis Sigmund Freud. The type of this research was qualitative by using descriptive method. The stages of the collection the data were (1) reading and understanding the novel contents, (2) nothing and marking all related data to the research object, (3) classification the data based on the research problem. The procedures of data analysis were (1) analysis the data of main character, (2) interpret the motive of main character behavior based on personality aspect (id, ego, superego), (3) making and inference. Related the result of data analysis were found 10 aspects of id, 18 aspect of ego and 21 aspects of super ego the novel of Mimpi Bungsu by Vanny Chrisma W. Aspect of super ego tried to control her pushing which was causend by id and ego. It proved when Hanny was forced to marry by her father. Id Hanny felt that she wanted to leave home but she preferred to give the priority to her super ego pushing, so she canceled her plan.from the third aspect mentioned above, the super ego aspect was more dominant on the novel Mimpi Bungsu by Vanny Chrisma W.
