Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to reveal the effect of the use of learning methods Explicit Instruction on student learning outcomes. This study was categorized as a experiment at research. The population in this study were student of class X at SMK N 1 Sutera academic year 2013/2014 which consists of eight parallel classes. Sampling of the population variance homogeneity test and equality test average. It was found that the population is homogeneous and have the same average. For random sampling, taken as many as two classes. Test for normality and homogeneity of variance test, apparently the result of learning a second grade sample has a normal distribution and homogeneous variance. Hypothesis testing is done to test the similarity of the average level of = 0.05 From the calculations, t = 3.57 and t = 1.668 for t > t, then reject H0 and accept H1. concluded, that the learning outcomes of students learning KKPI using Explicit Instruction teaching method is better than KKPI student learning outcomes using conventional teaching methods in class X SMK N 1 Sutera. The author suggests that teachers can apply KKPI Explicit Instruction teaching method as an alternative to achieve the objectives of learning and improving learning outcomes in SMK N 1 Sutera.
