PENGEMBANGAN HANDOUT YANG DILENGKAPI PETA KONSEP PADA PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI UNTUK SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 5 PADANG

Abstrak

ABSTRAK

 

The purpose of this research was  to develop handout with concept map in teaching and learning biology at grade 10 of senior high school, and to know the validity and practicalities from handout.The kind of the research was known as development research with a procedural model compriseddefenition, design, and develop. This researxh was conducted in the second semester of academic year 2013/2014. Subject of the research were 4 validators, 2 biology teachers who test practicalities and 26 students in teaching and learning biology.The research data was primer data which was got from questionnaires validity and practicalities, then the data was analized by descriptive analysist. The result of data  analysist show that handout media with concept map which was produced with validity 85,7%. The analysist result of practicalities tests of handout  with concept map by teachers was 85,93% with practical categorized, while by students was 87,16% was very practical from the aspect of easiness and effectiveness time of studying. Based of the result of research which is conducted, it could be concluded that handout media with concept map in teaching and learning biology for senior high school which was produced was fullfill the criteria ofvalidity and practical. Because of that it issuggested to teachers andstudents to be able to use handout with  concept map as teaching materials.
