Abstrak

This research is in the background, by the lack of participation of students in the fifth grade social studies lesson 01 UKS Padang Elementary School. The purpose of this research is to increase the participation of social studies students through models delikan Elementary School fifth grade at South Reef 01 Ulak Padang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is conducted in two cycles. The instrument used is the observation sheet implementation process of learning teacher, student participation sheet, and the sheet the end of the test cycle. Based on the analysis sheet participation of students in the first cycle obtained by asking the average classical 38.33% increase in the second cycle with the classical average of 78.33%, said participation in the first cycle with the classical average of 21.67% increase in the second cycle with an average of 71.66% classical. Expression and participation in cycle 1 gained an average of 18.33% in the second cycle increased by an average of 65.05% classical. The results of the first cycle study gained an average of 64.00 (19), increased in the second cycle of 81.33 (24 people). From the results obtained can be concluded that there is an increase in the participation of social studies fifth grade students of SD Negeri 01 Ulak Karang Selatan Padang after using delikan models.
