PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE PAIR CHECK DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN HANDOUT PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VII SMPN 2 PADANG

Abstract
The background of this research was done because the result of mathematics of student at SMPN 2 Padang was centered by teacher. Students often have difficulty when the given problem is slightly different from the sample questions which given by the teacher, and the students reflect on the completion of the sample questions given to the question without knowing the basic concept first. Students are more likely to ask their friends compared to teachers. Students used the textbook to support learning, but the presentation of the material in the book is too short. To solve this problem, one attempts to do by apply Cooperative Learning Using Handout with Pair Check type In Learning Mathematics Seventh Grade Students at SMP 2 Padang. From the research of data that has been analyzed by t test, found that the learning outcomes of students who apply mathematics with Cooperative Learning Type Pair Check By Using Handout is better than the mathematics learning outcomes of students who apply conventional learning in the classroom VII grade at SMP 2 Padang.
