Expert system is one of artificial intelligence who make computer can do the work like and as well as by humans. Expert system is a computer system who designed so that have ability and reasoning like expert. But, expert system not used for replacing an expert who in this problem im psychologist as consultant for students want recognize the potential and their ability. Expert system just used as equipment and limited tools. There problem is how design a tools for can help students for recognize the potential and their ability, so that they can choice right department in the University based potential and their ability. Expert system design for assign department in the University based Multiple Intteligence use visual basic programming language and Microsoft Office Access as database.
