PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN KEMAMPUAN BERBICARA SISWA KELAS IV MELALUI STRATEGI CARD SORT DI SDN 22 MANGGUNG PARIAMAN

Abstrak

The background of this research is the lack of activity speaking students. This can be seen when students were asked by the teacher to repeat material already described teachers with good language and correct. Fill talks presented by the students convoluted. In addition, students also spoke haltingly so that the contents of the conversation that was not clear. The purpose of this research is to improve students' activity and the ability to talk through strategy Card Sort. The theory used in this study is the theory of learning events by Dierich, review talk by Tarigan and Resmini, and learning strategies Card Sort according to Zaini and Sabri. This research is a class act. The subjects were fourth grade students of SDN 22 Manggung Pariaman, amounting to 26 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet teacher activity and student activity sheets observation. Based on the research that has been conducted in the fourth grade at SDN 22 Manggung Pariaman that the average percentage of students speaking activity that is 39.73 in the first cycle increased to 74.99 in the second cycle, the result of learning to speak the average percentage obtained at 65, 47 in the first cycle, increased to 74.57 in the second cycle. Based on these results it can be concluded that through Card Sort strategies can improve the activity and the ability to speak fourth grade students of SDN 22 Manggung Pariaman. Researchers suggest that the use of strategies Card Sort by teachers can be innovative in implementing the learning.
