Abstrak

This research was motivated by the lack of participation and student learning outcomes in social studies learning, especially in the fourth grade at SDN 02 Terandam. The purpose of this research is to increase participation in the fourth grade students learn to ask questions, answer questions, discussion groups, and to improve learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects (understanding). Using model Quiz Team this type of research used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subjects in this study were fourth grade students of SDN 02 Terandam, totaling 28 students. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet participation of student learning, teacher observation sheet activities and tests student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the study can be seen that the average percentage of students learn to ask questions, namely 50% in the first cycle increased to 75% in the second cycle, the participation of students learn to answer the question that is 46.42% in the first cycle increased to 75% in the second cycle, the participation discuss student learning groups: 50% in the first cycle increased to 75% in the second cycle, the percentage of mastery of learning outcomes in the cognitive (understanding) which is 53.57% of students in the first cycle increased to 82.14% in the second cycle. From the results of this study concluded that the IPS learning through models SDN 02 Quiz Team Terandam can increase participation and student learning outcomes. Based on the results of this study researchers suggest that teachers can,implement,the,model,in,learningsocial,studies,Quiz,Team. .
