INCREASE IN NATURAL SCIENCE LEARNING OUTCOMES THROUGH COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODELS OF TYPE SNOWBALL DRILLING THE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL FOURTH GRADERS COUNTRY 13 SURAU GADANG SITEBA
Abstrak
The purpose of this study is to describe the learning outcome Natural Sciences through the Cooperative Learning models of type Snowball Drilling on fourth grade students of SDN 13 Surau Gadang Siteba. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), build on the components consisting of (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation and, (4) reflection. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting from three meetings (including the meetings to the end of the test cycle). The subject of this study is the Elementary School fourth graders country 13 Surau Gadang Siteba , which amounts to 32 people. The research instrument used is, the observation sheet implementation of teacher learning, documentation and test results to learn. The results of the research that has been conducted, the average values obtained cycle (75.31) with percentage of 66% mastery learning and the average value of the second cycle (84.37) with a percentage of 84% mastery learning. This shows that the implementation of learning science using Cooperative Learning models of type Snowball Drilling improve learning outcomes by 18%. This means that the implementation of learning science using Cooperative Learning models of type Snowball Drilling increased. From the research it can be concluded that the tail Cooperative Learning models of type Snowball Drilling can improve science learning outcomes the Elementary School fourth graders country 13 Surau Gadang Siteba . Based on the results of this research suggest that teachers can implement Cooperative Learning models of type Snowball Driling in learning science well in accordance with the material being taught.
