Abstrak

This research was motivated by the low student motivation in civics learning. And teacher tend to use mothods of lectures, discussion and rarely use the media in the learning process. Purpose of this research is to increase the motivation ask, answer and do the work of student in the class IV by using a model Prosedur Pengembangan Sistem Instruksional (PPSI) on learning civics. The type of research is a classroom action research was conducted in two cycles. The subjectof research is the fourth grade students of SDN 47 Korong Gadang totaling 39 peoples. Instruments used in this study is the observation sheet student motivation, teacher observation sheet activity, motivation questionnaire and achievement test. Results showed that the average percentage of motivational asked in cycle I 15,5% increase in cycle II to 63,15%, motivation to answer in cycleI 21,15% increase in cycle II to 68,41% and motivational task in cycle I 47,4% increase in cycle II to 92,1%. Average learning outcomein  cycleI is 66 increase to 72 in cycle II. Based study concluded that by using model Prosedur Pengembangan Sistem Instruksional (PPSI) can incrase student’s motivation. Researchers suggest that teachers pay more attention to each step in applying the model model Prosedur Pengembangan Sistem Instruksional (PPSI) on civics learning and researchers to the teacher in the learning process by using a model model Prosedur Pengembangan Sistem Instruksional (PPSI)
