INCREASING INTEREST ANG LEARNING OUTCOMES IPA CLASS VIA TO THE USE OF MEDIA PICTURES IN STATE DISTRICT 01 ALAHAN PANJANG SOLOK

Abstrak

This study aims to describe students' interest and learning outcomes with the use of media images in learning science in sixth grade State 01 Alahan Panjang, Solok regency ?. This research is a classroom action research. Instrument for data collection was obtained through observation sheets interests of students, teachers and aspects of observation sheets achievement test. Results of the study was the first through the use of media images has been increased to interest students in the first cycle average interest questionnaire only 52% of students increased to 70.5% in the second cycle and student learning outcomes have improved, in the first cycle average grades -rata test results of students in the first cycle of 58.63 with a passing grade of 13% increased to be 72.72 in the second cycle with 98% completeness. The conclusion of this study that through media images can increase interest and student learning outcomes. Suggestion from researchers is: it is expected that teachers can use media images on other materials in addition to learning science using other media. The use of learning media is expected of teachers able to manage the class. While the use of instructional media is expected of teachers to motivate students to learn, so that students actually learn actively. Principals are expected to be able to recommend the use of media images to the teacher. Principals can also provide a more complete media.
