PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SNOWBALL THROWING DENGAN PEMBERIAN TUGAS RUMAH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VII MTsN PARAK LAWAS PADANG

ABSTRAK
The purpose of this research is to know the result of student learning in Biology with uses modeling in learning type of cooperative in snowball throwing with conventional method by giving homework to Biology student in learning class of VII MTsN Parak Lawas Padang year of 2013/2014. The type of research is experiment with design randomized control only design. The population of this research is all of student VII MTsN Parak Lawas Padang including five classes. To find class of sample doing by use technique of purposive sampling and to find experiment class and control is VII.3 with the total is 49. The instrument that use to collect the data is result of test student learning in cognitive area with test form is objective question and letter of observation in affection area and psychomotor. The result showed that grade of average experiment class is 80,94 and grade of average control class is 64,39 , next the process is test by t' on real base 0,05 in get thitung > ttabel (6.78>1,67), so hypothesis H1 accept. As for grade of average in psychomotor and affective experiment class is (84,33 dan 70,33) high than control class is (74,66 dan 66). So, the conclusion is there are differences of result in student learning by using learning modeling of type cooperative in snowball throwing with give the homework in class VII MTsN Parak Lawas Padang year 2013/2014. The implementation of learning by use modeling learning in type of cooperative in snowball throwing by giving homework can use in Biology learning.
