ABSTRAK
The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the biology of learning outcomes by using the cooperative learning method two stay two stray with the conventional method in class X SMA Negeri 4 baseboards Bengkalis Riau Province. The population in this study were all students of class X in the academic year 2013/2014. Determination of sample classes conducted by purposive sampling method, whereas to determine the experimental class and the control class is done by random. Obtained experimental class is a class Xb and Xc control class is class. The results showed an average value of 70.1 while the experimental class average value of the control class 55.5 statistical test on the real level of 0.05 obtained tcount> t table (3.8199> 1.67), then the hypothesis H1 is accepted. Assessment of learning outcomes in the affective aspects of experimental class higher (79.59%) of the control class (77.77%), while the average value of the experimental aspects of psychomotor class (70.04%) better than the control class (69 , 25%). From the research it can be concluded that, there is a difference in student learning outcomes with the application of cooperative learning method two stay two stray (TSTS) in class X SMA Negeri 4 baseboards Bengkalis Riau Province. Therefore, learning methods two stay two stray (TSTS) are to be implemented on the subject matter of biology in high school.
