Abstract

 

The process of learning is one of the supporting a tool to achieve the good achievement of the student’s mathematic  learning outcomes. One of the strategy that can improve student’s learning outcome is a kind of active learning study type Index Card Match (ICM) with Speed Test. The strategy is a material learning repetition strategy, so the students can  remember the material given. Meanwhile, Speed Test is an evaluation tool used to observe student’s understanding of the material had been studied. This research was aimed to know to whether student’s mathematic learning outcomes by using active learning strategy  type ICM along Speed Test is the better than using conventional method. The instrument in this  research was learning outcome test. Based on the result of data analyzing, it can be concluded that student mathematic learning result by using active learning strategy type  ICM with Speed Test is the better than the result of the student mathematic learning  outcome using conventional method in  class VIII MTsN Tanjung Raya.
