PENERAPAN STRATEGI MEROTASIKAN PERTUKARAN PENDAPAT KELOMPOK EMPAT ORANG PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA KELAS X IPA SMAN 3 PADANG

Abstract

Mathematics learning that apply in senior High School 3 Padang have done use discussiun method. It is can look when the teacher  give exercise to the students and then students doing by group. Sistematic in make the group is the first and second row included into one group. The third and fourth row included into one group and  so on. So, forming the group only based on sit position of students when group discussion begin,not all of student that active in their group. There is student that only waiting the answer from their group mate. While they chatting and using handphone. One of learning strategy that can apply is applying the learning strategy with rotating quartet exchange. The purpose of this research is to test whether the students study result of mathematics that using learning strategy with rotating quartet exchange is better than using ordinary learning is X grade science class at senior high school 3 Padang. Senior high school 3 Padang consist of seven classes that homogen. The instrument that usied is test of study’s result. Based on student study’s result data of mathematics in both of sampel class. Doing test of hypotesis with t-test and got  dan . Because  the proposed hypothesis,so the hypotesis can accept in 95% confidence level. Thus the student study’s result that using learning strategy rotating quartet exchange is better than using ordinanry at X grade of science senior high school 3 Padang.
