PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF MODEL PICTURE AND PICTURE YANG DILENGKAPI TUGAS RUMAH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 3 PADANG

The purpose of this study was to determine differences in biology students' learning outcomes using Active Learning Strategies Model Picture and Picture Tasks that Comes Home by using the conventional method in the SMP 3 Padang. This research is an experimental study to design randomized control group posttest-only design. The population of this study were all students of class VIII Semester 1 SMP 3 Padang that consists of five classes. Sampling was purposive sampling, to determine the class while the control and experimental classes using random techniques. The instrument used to obtain the data in the form of sheet test and observation sheets affective and psychomotor aspects. Test was used for hypothesis testing the equality of two average or t-test where t value obtained is t = 2.54 ˃ table = 2.00 at confidence level α = 0.05 and the hypothesis H1 is accepted that there are differences in the biology student learning outcomes class VIII SMP 3 Padang on applying active learning strategies picture and picture models equipped with a homework assignment pemebelajaran conventional models. The results of studying the average value of the cognitive aspects of the experimental class is 81.68 and the control class is 73.7. For the affective aspects of the average value of the experimental class was 82.03% and the average value of the control class is 76.30%. And psychomotor aspects with the average experimental value of 77.77% and 70.27% in the control class. From the study it can be concluded that the biology student learning outcomes using Active Learning Strategies Model Equipped Picture and Picture Tasks house better than the biology student learning outcomes using conventional learning.
