PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR MEMBACA PEMAHAMAN DENGAN MODEL SURVEY, QUESTION, READ, RECITE, AND RIVIEW (SQ3R) SISWA KELAS IV SDN 16 KOTO LANGANG KABUPATEN PESISIR SELATAN

Abstrak

This backgroud of this researd is the fact that met in the fourth grade at SDN 16 Koto Langang south Coastal District, the teacher always use the lecture method in teaching Indonesian, thus causing a lack of student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to describe the improved reading skills in learning Indonesian students use the model Survey, Question, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R)  in class IV SDN 16. This research is a classroom action research. Based on the research results, the obtained activity in learning Indonesian study data showed that: the activity of reading ability in learning Indonesian in the first cycle at a meeting 1 and meeting 2 obtained an average percentage of 61.25. In the second cycle at the meeting 1 and meeting obtained an average percentage of 77.02, while the student learning outcomes in the firts cycle of 69.18 increased to 80.00 in the second cycle in the fourth grade at SDN 16 Koto Langang. Based on the research results, it was concluded that: Through the model can impove skills SQ3R reading 16 class IV Koto Langang SDN. It is therefore recommended to use the models to peneliti lainnya SQ3R as a medium to enhance the activity and learning outcomes in other learning.
