This research of background by lowering of participation converse student in study of Indonesian. Target of this research is to improve student participation in talking with to use study model guess word. With problem formula is how make-up of participation converse and result of learning student at study of Indonesian. While reference for the model of study guess word told by theory of Istarani, to converse to be told theory of Tarigan this research type is classroom action research(CAR). This Research is done/conductedin two cycle, each cycle consist of thrice meeting. Research Subjek is class student of V counted 26 people. Instrument in this research is teacher activity observation sheet, participation observation sheet converse student, sheet of tes result of learning student. Result of research indicate that participation converse student in according to replying question of its percentage mean of cycle of I 65,38% mounting at cycle of II 88,46%, fluency give comments to opinion of its percentage mean others of cycle of I 61,53% mounting at cycle of II 84,61%, presenting result of discussion percentage of cycle of I 73,07% mounting at cycle of II 88,46%. Doing duty given by teacher percentage of cycle of I 76,92% mounting at cycle of II 92,30%, mean result of learning cycle of I 72,96 mounting at cycle of II 83,69. Pursuant to result of research concluded that participation converse and result of learning student can be improved topass/throughstudy model guess word at study of Indonesian.
