PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF TIPE GROUP TO GROUP EXCHANGE (GGE) DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 10 PADANG

Abstrak

Abstract 

                In this research, the researcher find some factors that make school grade students in class VIII SMPN 10 Padang become low. One of the factors is the process of study mathematics in the class still focus on the teacher. The students tend to passive, do not want to ask to the teacher. One of the strategies to solve this problem is the strategy type Group to Group Exchange. In this strategy, the students can be more active in studying such as asking, answer the teacher question’s,  give opinions to the teacher or discussion by group to group. This research, the effective of strategy between type Group to Group Exchange and  studying conventional will be appear.

                The kind of this research is experiment research. The population is class VIII in SMNP 10 Padang. The sample are VIIIe experiment class and VIIIb  control class. The result students can see in final score grade between two classes. Analysis data got  = 3,38 while  = 1,67   in effectiveness 95%. The conclusion of the  research is the final score students which use type GGE more effective than use method  conventional in class VIII SMPN 10 Padang.
