Abstrak

Abstract

The study was backed by the lack of writing skills by learning Indonesian Language on students, and teachers tend to use methods of lecture and question and answer. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of writing skills of students in school classrooms  IVB SD Negeri 35 Pagambiran Padang The model Concept Sentence. The Concept sentence expressed by the istarani, suprijono. This research is a research action class (PTK) formulated by Arikunto. This research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two times. the subject of this research is the SD State students 35 Pagambiran Padang the totalling 26 students. Research instrument used in this research is the observation of teacher sheet, sheet prapenulisan, stages of the writing stage, and stage pascapenulisan. Based on the results of the use of the model Concept Sentence proved can improve the skills of the students.  From the results of the analysis of writing skills at prapenulisan stage I cycle with an average of 61 experienced an increase in cycle II with an average of 74, at this stage of the cycle I by writing an average of 62 has increased on cycle II with an average of 76. Next on stage pascapenulisan on cycle I with an average of 67 has increased on cycle II with an average of 75. Based on it can be inferred that there is an increase in the student essay writing skills class IVB SD 35 Negeri Padang Pagambiran  after using the model Concept Sentence.
