CODE MIXING OF HITAM PUTIH TALK SHOW 9TH – 13TH JUNE 2014 IN TRANS 7

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This study is aim to describe the forms of code mixing, types of code mixing, and the causes of code mixing of Hitam Putih Talk Show of TRANS7. The theories of this study are proposed by (1) Abdul Chaer, (2) Nursaid and Maksan, and (3) Nababan. In collecting the data by recording the utterances of host and co host, and write the transcript. After that, classified the utterances based on the object of the research. The data are classified and analyzed by using several steps: (1) the way of code mixing (inside and outside), and (2) the forms of code mixing, and (3) the causes of code mixing. From the analysis, it can be concluded that code mixing of Hitam Putih talk show in TRANS 7 is caused by the role of identification, the variance of identification of desire to explain and interpret.
