PENERAPAN PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF GROUP TO GROUP EXCHANGE DI AWALI TUGAS MERINGKAS TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VII SMP NEGERI 1 TIUMANG KABUPATEN DHARMASRAYA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the biology of learning outcomes using active learning Group to Group Exchange (GGE) and the conventional method in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Tiumang. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tiumang as many as 95 students in the academic year 2013/2014. Determination of sample classes conducted by purposive sampling method, whereas to determine the experimental class and the control class is done by random. Obtained experimental class is a class VII1 dan VII3 control class is class. The results showed an average value on the cognitive aspects of the experimental class is 78.18 while the average value of the control class adalah70,84. Test statistics at the level of α = 0.05 is obtained thitung> ttabel (2.77> 1.67), then the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Assessment of learning outcomes in the affective aspects of  high-grade 83,57 lebih experimental than the control class 79.03. From the results research canconcluded that, there are differences in the biology student learning outcomes of the application of the treated group to group exchange method with the task of giving a summary of the conventional method in class VII SMP Negeri 1 Tiumang.
