PENINGKATAN MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS DI KELAS IVA DENGAN STRATEGI POINT COUNTER POINT SD NEGERI 28 BATANG ANAI PALAPA SAIYO
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of student interest in learning social studies class IVA in Elementary School 28 Batang Anai Saiyo Palapa. The problem of this study is how the increase in student interest in learning social studies class IVA. The purpose of this research is to increase student interest in the fourth grade social studies lesson in asking, answering questions, and in expressing opinions through strategies Point Counter Point. This research is a classroom action research. The subject of this research is class IVA totaling 29 students. The Research Instruments used in this study were sheet student interest, teacher activity sheets, field notes, questionnaire sheet student interest. The results show the quality of the learning aspects of teachers increased 70.83% in the first cycle to 87.49% in the second cycle. Based on the results for the observer on the first cycle indicator of interest is 49.99% of students asked, while the second cycle increased to 79.30%. Interest of the students to answer questions in the first cycle 48.27%, while in the second cycle increased to 77.56%. In the interest of students to speak up 46.54% in the first cycle, the second cycle increased to 79.30%. Analysis of student interest questionnaire increased from 81.37% to 88.94%. Learning also found an increase in the value of the first cycle of the value of 68.80% increased to 80% obtained it can be concluded that the IPS learning strategies in the classroom Point Counter Point Elementary School IVA in 28 Batang Anai Palapa Saiyo can increase student interest.
