Abstrak

ABSTRAK

The study was backed by by the lack of writing skills of students in the Indonesian Language learning at grade IV SD Negeri 35 Pagambiran Padang. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability of writing a narrative essay grade IV by using the direct model writing activities in SD Negeri35 Pagambiran Padang. Reference model for direct writing learning activities taken from the theory advanced by Taufina Taufik and Muhammadi, while to write the theory used is a theory that has been said by HeriJauhari. This research was conducted by using the PTK or class action research conducted in two cycles. The data source is a grade IV 35 Pagambiran Padang the totalling to 30 people. The instruments used are sheet assessment aspects of the writing skills of students, teacher observation sheets, sheet obsevasi sheet test results of students and student learning. The results of this research indicate that the average value of student learning results acquisition increased. It can be seen from the stages held in the average cycle prapenulisan I 67,75 while on cycle II increased to 70,40. At the stage of writing the cycle I averaged 69,16 while on cycle II increased to 76,38. At this stage of the cycle I pascapenulisan gains an average of 74 in cycle II increased to 75,19. Based on these results it can be concluded that this study demonstrates the use of the model for Direct Writing Activities can enhance the capabilities and writing a narrative essay grade IV SD Negeri 35  Pagambiran Padang reachedwith good.
