Abstrak

ABSTRACT

This research is aimed to see the code mixing in religious speech at mosque of Muslimin Pauh Anok Kecamatan Pangkalan. This research used some theories as references they are, (1) theory stated by Abdul Chaer about Code Mixing, (2) theory stated by Nursaid and Maksan about code mixing, language, bilingual, language contact, and (3) Suwito stated about causal factor of code mixing. This research that produced descriptive data. Focus of this research is type of code mixing and casual factor of code mixing in religious speech at mosque of Muslimin Pauh Anok Pangkalan. Technique of collecting data this research is speech recordings, make the transcript and categorizing the speech based on the object of the reserch. Based on the result found that type of code mixing found that (1) identification of roles, (2) identification of styles, (3) wish of explanation and interpretation, where ustadz mixes the speech between first language, Indonesia, and second language, Minangkabau Language. The result can be concluded thet code mixing in religious speech at mosque of Muslimin Pauh Anok Kecamatan Pangkalan Kabupaten 50 Kota caused by identification of roles, identification of styles and wish of explanation and interpretation.
