MENINGKATKAN MINAT DAN HASIL PROSES PEMBELAJARAN SISWA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE EKSPERIMEN PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPA DI KELAS IV SDN. 25 TALANG KABUPATEN SOLOK

This research animed to increase the students interest and their achiverment in learning process. The research tipe is the classroom action in two cycles, each of which was going in two meetings. The research instrument was test in learning proses and the forms of observation of students interest. The results of study showed that (i) 100 % students paid attention the teacher’s explanation, (ii) 58,33 % students did experiment, (iii) 66,5 % prepared tools and materials, (iv) 33,33 % asked guestion, but (v) 0 % responded to teacher’s explanation in the first cycle. The improvement in the second cycle included (i) 100 % paid attention, (ii) 83 % did experiment, (iii) 91,5 % prepared tools and materials, (iv) 66,67 % asked guestion, and (v) 50 % responded. The average of the students achievement of learning process was bigger (77,08) thanthe school’s KKM (70) in the fourth year of SDN. 25 Talang. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the use of experimental method to in crease the student’s interests and their achievement is learning process in the fourth year of SDN. 25 Talang.
