Abstrak

ABSTRACT

 

T            his study aimed to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in the cognitive and affective domains of learning social studies. This type of research used in this study was Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study was conducted by 2 cycles. The subjects were students of class V, which amounts to 24 people. The research instrument used was a teacher observation sheet activities, observation sheets into learning activities, students' response to the observation sheet material in a flag ceremony, and achievement test. The results show that the completeness results of cognitive learning first cycle at a meeting I was only 8 students who achieve a score of 65, while 16 people were still staying under the KKM Have increased 65 to 12 at the second meeting of the students who pass by value Then the 90th highest in the first meeting of the second cycle increased to 16 students who completed the highest score of 100 and continues to increase at the second meeting of the second cycle were 19 students who completed the value with the highest value of 100 in the classical completeness percentage is 79.19% . Then for the learning outcomes in the affective domain of learning process in the cycle is 25% and the second cycle increased to 75%. As for the external assessment in the learning process in the first cycle was 29.16% in the second cycle increased to 83.33%. From these results it can be concluded that the results of student learning can be enhanced through learning model Mind Mapping fifth grade social studies learning.
