Abstract

 

This research is motivated by the low activity of students in learning civics class V-A SDN 01 Koto Balingka. The low activity of 24 students learning characterized the students there are (40%) who actif in the discussion,  (35%) were actif in make compiling, and (25%) who actif in make the concluding. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is by implementing action research, action research using a model of Cooperative Script. The problems of this research is to learn how the increased activity of students in learning civics class V-A using Script Cooperative models in SDN 01 Koto Balingka. While the goal is to increase the activity of students learning civics class V-A on learning using a model of Cooperative Script in SDN 01 Koto Balingka. This research is conducted action research collaboratively. Subjects of this study were grade students of class V-A SDN 01 Koto Balingka, which amounts to 24 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet teacher activity, student activity observation sheets, field notes, test and documentation of student learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of student activity in the observation sheet carrying out discussions in the first cycle was 54.17%, an increase in cycle II to 83.33% . Activity of students in make compiling in the first cycle was 62.50%, an increase in cycle II to 87.50%. Student activity in make the concludes in the first cycle was 45.84%, an increase in cycle II to 79.17%. It can be concluded, using the model of Cooperative Script on civics lesson can be increased activity of students' learning.
