The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in interest and learning outcomes of sixth grade students of SDN 17 Pasar Baru Durian, Sawahlunto with audio-visual media. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings (including the meetings for replay). Subjects of this study were sixth grade students of SDN 17 Pasar Baru Durian, which amounted to 12 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student interest, teacher activity observation sheets, and sheets of student questionnaire and tests student learning outcomes. Based on the research that has been carried out can be seen that the average percentage of interest of students in the first cycle was 71.52%, while the second cycle is the average percentage of 89.58%. The percentage of students who achieve a passing grade on the first cycle was 58.33% and the percentage of students who achieve a passing grade on the second cycle is 75%. Percentage of students responding to the learning in the first cycle was 83.33%, while 88.33% in the second cycle. This means that the learning of PKn by using audio-visual media can increase interest and learning outcomes of sixth grade students of SDN 17 Pasar Baru Durian. Based on the results of this research suggest that teachers can use the audio-visual media in learning to increase student interest and learning outcomes.
