This research is motivated by the lack of interest and writing student learning outcomes in learning Indonesian in SDN 08 Baringin Agam District of Palembayan. To increase interest and student learning outcomes, researchers carry out action research (PTK) using learning model complete sentence in two cycles, which consisted of three meetings. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in interest and student learning outcomes in writing on learning Indonesian. Two learning sessions, and one-time meeting achievement test. This research is a classroom action research. Based on the research that has been conducted, in the first cycle the average percentage of interest earned was 71.3%, whereas in the second cycle the average percentage interest obtained is 78.8%. The increase from the first cycle to the second cycle was 7.5%. While the percentage of mastery learning students in the first cycle was 57.89% or 11 students who value reaches a predetermined KKM is 70, with an average of 70, while the second cycle is the percentage of students passing grade 84.21% or 16 students whose value reaches a predetermined KKM is 70, with an average of 77.4. The increase in the percentage of mastery learning in the first cycle to the second cycle is equal to 24.32%. From the results of this study concluded that learning Indonesian with Sentence Complete models can improve learning interests and results in writing fourth grade students of SDN 08 Baringin Agam District of Palembayan.
