PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS V PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI STRATEGI INFORMATION SEARCH DI SDN 15 TANAH HITAM KOTA PADANG PANJANG

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student learning result in social sciences learning, especially at V class in SDN 15 Tanah Hitam Padang Panjang town. The purpose of the research is to increase student studying result at V class in social sciences learning with Information Search strategy in SDN 15 Tanah Hitam Padang Panjang town. Research is done two cycles, each cycle consisting of thrice meet. Based on the results it can be seen that the average percentage of student learning result in the cognitive learning result of students at the end of the test cycle to first cycle average value 62,76 increased to average value 73,39 in the second cycle, the completeness 46.15% (6 people) in cycle I to be 78.57% (11 people) cycle II. Student learning result in the affective aspects ie 63.93% in the first cycle increased to 80.35% in the second cycle. Student learning result in the psychomotor aspects ie 62.89% in the first cycle increased be 78.56% in the second cycle. Of research result is concluded that Social Sciences learning utilizes strategy Information Search can increase student studying result at V class in social sciences learning with Information Search strategy in SDN 15 Tanah Hitam Padang Panjang Town. Therefore, suggested to learnings deep teacher Social Sciences with Information Search strategy can be utilized as one of strategy in learning at Elementary School.
