This research  of  background by lack of student activity in study of IPS class student of V SDN 20 Pasaman Sub-Province of Pasaman West. Lack of student activity marked with result of middle test  of  semester of I School Year 2013 / 2014, only 23,07% complete student. One of  the  way of able to be used to overcome the problem  is  by using graphical media  of  card. Target of this research is to the make-up of activity learn class student of V instudy of IPS by using graphical media  of  card  in  SDN 20 Pasaman Sub-Province of Pasaman West. this Type Research  is  Research of executed Action Class by kolaboratif. Subjek of this research  is  class student of V SDN 20 Pasaman, amounting to 26 people. Research instrument which  is  used in this research  is  activity observation sheet learn student, teacher activity observation sheet, field note and of tes final  of  cycle. Pursuant to result of student activity observation sheet analysis obtained  by  percentage mean  at  cycle of I  is  41,99%.  At  cycle of II mean percentage of student activity the obtained  is  80,12%. While result learn mean result of learning student  at  cycle of I  is  61,54, with complete percentage learn 42,31%. Meanwhile mean result of learning cycle student of II  is  84,61, with complete percentage learn 96,15%. Thereby can be concluded that study of IPS by using graphical media  of  card can improve activity learn student
