KESANTUNAN BERBAHASA MINANGKABAU DALAM TINDAKTUTUR DIREKTIF ANAK KEPADA ORANG TUA DI KENAGARIAN GAUANG KECAMATAN KUBUNG KABUPATEN SOLOK

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this research are to describe politeness of language by students to their parents in Minang language at Gauang, Kecamatan Kubung, Kabupaten Solok Sumatera in directive speech act. Theory that used in this research are pragmatic, said context, politeness by Wijana (2009), speech act, the cause of impoliteness by Abdul Chaer (2009), politeness in Minang language by Christyawaty (2004). This type research is descriptive qualitative research method. The steps in collect the data are (1) to collect all child pronunciation to their parents, (2) organize pronunciation that include directive pronunciation, (3) analyze the politeness of language focus on speech act, said context, and analyze the data of politeness of the culture and politeness princip, (4)  interprete the child speak to the parents, (5) making a conclusion. From the directive pronunciation aspect that frequently used is directive pronunciation of ask and suggest. The high education family from five family, three of them are polite, the two others are impolite. The middle education family, three of them are polite, one of them is less polite and the other one is impolite. The low education of five family, one of them is polite, two of the are less polite and two others are impolite. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the politeness of Minangkabau language in pronunciation to parents at Gauang, Kubung, Solok is less polite caused by the background of the family education is low.
