NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL PUKAT KARYA TERE- LIYE

ABSTRACT

 

The purpose of this research is to describe the value of education character in the novel Pukat by Tere-Liye. The theory used in this research are the nature of character by Hasan (2010), the nature of education character by Lickona (in Morelent, 2010: 4), and the value of education character by Hasan et all (2010). The design of this research is qualitative with descriptive method. The steps in collecting the data are (1) reading and comprehend the value of education character in the novel Pukat by Tere-Liye as a whole, (2) note the data of research object about the value of education character in novel Pukat by Tere-Liye, and (3) describe the data based on the background of the problem of this research about the value of education character in the novel Pukat by Tere-Liye. The technique of analyzing data are (1) to analyze data that is collected with aspect in from educational value of the main character in novel Pukat written by Tere-Liye, (2)  analysis of educational value of the main character in novel Pukat written by Tere-Liye, (3) to conclude the result of research. Based  data analysis, it was found that there are five aspect of education character of the main actor with twenty data convist of eleven data of education character value of want to know, five data of creative value, one data of religion value, two data of love and peace and two data about charity. In conclusion, there are some value of education character in this novel that can be a possitive effect for the readers.
