PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI PENDEKATAN PENDIDIKAN MATEMATIKA REALISTIK PADA SISWA KELAS II SDN 02 V KOTO KAMPUNG DALAM KAB. PADANG PARIAMAN

ABSTRACT

This research is caused of by the difficulty in understanding mathematics at second grade students of SDN 02 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The purpose of this research is to improve learning outcomes with realistic mathematics education approach. The research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) implemented in the second semester of the academic year 2013/2014 at SDN 02 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The subjects were second grade students of SDN 02 Kampung Dalam with 15 students. The research consisted of 2 cycles, which held three meetings each cycle and the end of each cycle given a test. The results showed an increase in student learning outcomes with 60% passing grade on the first cycle to 86.67% in the second cycle. The average learning outcomes 70 to 81.33 in the first cycle to the second cycle. This means that the implementation of learning mathematics through realistic mathematics education approach goes well. Based on the results of this study concluded that through realistic mathematics education approach to improve learning outcomes in mathematics learning at second grae students of  02 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The results of this study are expected to be useful for teachers and readers in order to improve student learning outcomes in the classroom.
