NILAI-NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM NOVEL‘’AYAHKU (BUKAN) PEMBOHONG’’ KARYA TERE LIYE

Abstrak

This study was aimed  to describe the  characther’s value in the novel†Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong written by Tere Liye. Atheory model used in this study was  a theory from Said Hamid Hasan and Ratna Megawangi about characther and theory of  literature. A method used analyzing this novel was by using Qualitative descriptive based. On anlyzing data, it was found that the result ot the characters found in the novel written by Tere Liye was there ten. Characters from the result of the finding, it can be concluded that there werw 2 data of honesty, dicpline, responsibility, 18 data of independent, tolerance, peaceful, democratic, nationalism, 1 data of unity, self confidence, hard working, creative, and 35 data of, patriotisme, creative, and 23 data of reading habit, appreciating the achievements 10 data of respect and politeness, 21 data of kindness and unarrogant, 3 data of leadership and justice, generous, helpfulness, mutual aid, social careness 5 data of environmen careness, friendly/ 3 data of communicative.
