PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN BERBICARA MENGGUNAKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PICTURE AND PICTURE PADA SISWA KELAS IV SDN. NO 17 GUNUNGN PANGILUN PADANG

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose on this study was to : (1) Improve speaking skills in IV grade student of SDN 17 Mount Pangilun Padang. In studying Indonesian about speaking skills by applying the image method. Type of research this is a research class. The theory is used as a reference. Sadiman explained that : this image method is one way of preswnting intructional materials which teacher privide opportunities to students (student group) held discussions to brainstorm, make conclusions,or develop various alternative solutions to a problem. The subjects were IV grade students of SDN 17 Mount Pangiliun numbered 20 students. The result of the study showed an increase in the skills of each cycle speaking students. Seen from the application of learning models picture and picture can motivate student dare to express opinions, ideas, comments and suggestions at front of the class. The resulting increase in cycle I got speaking skills mean value 67,6 average. While the second cycle 80,1. From the observation and the recapitulation value obtained by students, saw an increase in students’ speaking skills. Can concluded that, learning model can improve the picture and picture speaking skills of fourth grade students at SDN No. 17 Mount Pangilun.
