IMPROVEMENT ACTIVITIES LEARNING CLASS V IPS THROUGH THE LEARNING MODEL GATHERING CARDS IN SDN 27 KINALI

       This research is motivated by the low activity of social studies fifth grade students of SDN 27 Kinali. The low activity of marked student learning of 24 students, there are 6 students (25%) were willing to answer questions, 5 students (20%) were given a lesson, and 5 students (20%) who do the work. The purpose of this study is to find an alternative model of learning that can improve student learning activities. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which is implemented in the 1st half 2013/2014 school year at SDN 27 Kinali. This study consisted of 2 cycles, which dilaksakan two meetings each cycle and the end of each cycle is given a test. The procedure consisted of four stages, namely (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, (4) reflection. The results showed an average increase student activity in an opinion in the first cycle and second cycle 66.7% 77.1%. Average student activity considering the social studies, the first cycle was 64.6%, increase in cycle II to 77.1%. Student activity assignment results obtained 83.4%, increased in the second cycle to 93.8%. The percentage of students achieving mastery in the learning set to 70%, in the first cycle of 58.3% increased to 83.3% in the second cycle. This means that the implementation of learning using the IPS model arisan Card goes well. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of learning models arisan cards can increase the activity of students in learning social studies in grade 27 Kinali SDN. The results of this study are expected to be useful for teachers and readers in order to improve the activity and student learning outcomes in the classroom.
