Abstrak

The purpose of the study was to describe the use of media images to improve student learning outcomes. Action hypothesis is the use of media images in the learning process can improve the activity Civics and student learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research undertaken collaboratively. The subject of this study is the third grade students of SDN 29 Ganting Bayang District of South Coastal District, which amounts to 25 people. The research instrument used in this study is the process of teacher observation sheet, observation of the student activity sheets, and test results of students' learning. Based on the results of the study, the average percentage of the activity of the first cycle of students meeting 1 56% and 68% of its second meeting, the first meeting while the second cycle 92%. This means that the implementation of civics learning by using media images going well.. From the research it can be concluded that the use of learning Civics Media Images on third-grade students of SDN 29 Ganting Bayang District of South Coastal District can improve student learning outcomes. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can choose and use media images to improve the activity and student learningoutcomes.
