THE IMPLEMENTATION OF COOPERATIVE TEACHING MODEL WITH NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) TYPE BY GIVING HYPNOTHERAPY IN BIOLOGY LESSON IN X1 IPA AT SMAN 1 MUARA BUNGO

Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research is to see the difference between teaching biology by using cooperative teaching model with  numbered head together (NHT) type by giving hypnotherapy and teaching biology by using conventional method in the students of X1 IPA SMAN 1 Muara Bungo. The type of this research is an experiment research with randomized control group posttest only design. The population of this reach was the students in XI IPA SMAN 1 Muara Bungo consisting of 5 classes. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling technique. The random technique was used to define the control class and the experiment class. The instrument used in obtaining the data were text sheets and affective and psycho motoric aspects sheets. The hypothesis was tested by using t-examiner.it was found that t-count>t-table; 3,07>1,68 based on the statistical test (0,05 of validity standard). It showed a significant difference between the control class and the experiment class. In the cognitive aspect, the minimum standard of study completeness was 87% in the experiment class, and 50% in the control class. The average score in the affective aspect was 81,11 in the experiment class and 74,43 in the control class. The average score in the psychomotor aspect in the experiment class was 83,79 and 78,04 in the control class. It can be concluded that the result of the study by using cooperative teaching model with numbered head together (NHT) type is better than the result of the study through conventional method.
