PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN KEMAMPUAN MENYIMAK CERITA ANAK SISWA KELAS V DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL DI SDN 05 NAN SABARIS

Abstrak

This study aimed to describe the increase in the interest and ability of the child to listen to the story in class V SDN 05 Nan Sabaris Kababupaten Padang Pariaman by using Media Audio Visual.Teori  used in this research are Slameto theory (2010) about the interests, and opinions Mulyati (2011) about listening skills, as well as the opinion of Sulaiman (1998) and Aminuddin (2000) on the application of audio-visual media and audio media Visual in listened to children's of learning listening story this reasert, is classroom action research (CAR), which is conducted in two cycles, with the subject of the fifth grade students of SDN 05 Nan Sabaris Kab. Padang Pariaman were enrolled in the academic year 2013/2014, which amounts 27 people students. The results of this study showed that the average interest of students in the first cycle reaches 87.92 % and the second cycle students' interest increased 8.81% to 96.73%. In the first cycle the child's ability to listen to the story fifth grade students of SDN 05 Nan Sabaris Kab. Padang Pariaman before the application of audio-visual media 61.37. In the second cycle students' listening skills class V children's story SDN 05 Sabaris Nan Sabaris. Kab. Padang Pariaman has increased by 8.88% to 70,25. This results shows that learning by using audio-visual media can increase interest and listening skills fifth grade students of  SDN 05 Nan Sabaris Kab. Padang Pariaman.
