This study aims to describe the increase in activity and student learning outcomes in science learning using constructivism approach in Kapencong MIN. This research is a classroom action research conducted in the 2nd half of the school year 2013/2014 in the South Coastal District MIN Kapencong the number of students 18. The study was conducted in two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The research instrument is in the form of text matter objectively, essays and observations of student activity sheets and teacher aspect. The results showed an increase in the activity of the first cycle of students meeting the first 6.94% and at the second meeting of the 68.02% increase. The first meeting of the second cycle and 77.77% at the second meeting of the 88.88% increase. Thoroughness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle and the second cycle 64.5 is 75.8. This means that the implementation of science learning using constructivism approach goes well. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of constructivism approach can improve the activity and learning outcomes in science learning in Class IV MIN Kapencong South Coastal District. It is therefore recommended to the teacher to be able to use the approach of constructivism in science
