Abstract

 

          This research is motivated by the low of students’ activities of studying at the fifth grade in learning PKn in MIN Calau South Pesisir Region. The problems formulation in this research is how increase the students’ activities of studying in learning PKn the five grade MIN Calau with using Concep Map Strategy. The purpose of this research is to increase description the students’ activities of studying the fifth grade in learning PKn with using Concep Map Strategy in MIN Calau South Pesisir Region. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in the two cycles. The subject of this research was the fifth grade students of MIN Calau South Pesisir Region district numbered 13 people. The instrument that was used in this research was students’ activity observation sheet, teacher’s activity observation sheet, and sheet tests student learning outcomes and field registion. Based on the result of research showed that the students’ activities in give opinion in the first cycle 44,55% increase in the two cycle to 76,93%, the students’ activities in discussion in the first cycle 52,24% increase in the two cycle to 80,77%, the students’ activities in precentation in the first cycle 64,43% increase in the two cycle to 76,93%, the students’ activities in make summary in the first cycle 52,57% increase in the two cycle to 84,62%. Based on the result of research, it can be concluded that there is an increase in students’ activities of studying the fifth grade of MIN Calau South Pesisir Region after using Concep Map Strategy.
